Surface Grinder Spindle Oiler Question

Hi all, I aquired a B&S #2 surface grinder. The few times that I've used it, the spindle leaks onto the magnetic chuck. Am I dripping too many drops into the spindle from the oiler at a time, or is there a seal problem. Thx
