Like many of you I have another hobby...or two.
I do scrimshaw on Mammoth Ivory, bone, shell and Tagua nut. I've been doing this for many years. Its relaxing and satisfying. I often do this for myself and then give it away to someone who seems to 'fit the piece'. I have done commission work and been paid a nominal fee, not what it's worth for the time involved but just enough so those who asked have a better appreciation for what is involved.
